We always welcome new members!!
Watch this site for announcements about our upcoming open houses, where you can come try the sport out for yourself. Or drop us a note to let us know you're interested, and we'll arrange to give you a lesson during one of our regular curling nights (Sunday evenings, 8:30-10:30). We curl at the Ice Chalet, 100 Lebanon Street, Knoxville, Tennessee (behind The Fresh Market in Bearden).
Learn to Curl!
All you need is comfortable warm clothing and clean athletic shoes. We'll provide everything else - sliders, brooms, and rocks.
Learn to Curl - Fall 2016
Interested in learning to curl like a Winter Olympian? Come out to the Ice Chalet on Sunday, September 11 between 8:00 and 8:15. Lessons will start at 8:30 hosted by the Great Smoky Mountains Curling Club. The cost (due in person, cash please) will be $15/person for new curlers. If you enjoy your lesson, you should consider signing up for our 10-week league on Sundays at 8:30 pm, starting September 18. We'll pair you with experienced curlers to give you more time to learn throughout the season.
What to Wear? Or Bring?
Bring the $15 LTC fee (cash please), and wear loose fitting pants and clean rubber soled shoes. We'll supply everything else!
